DETAIL360° features the profiles of architects, specialist planners, interior designers, and consultancies, thereby allowing developers to establish new contacts to this group via the internet. Architects and planners can present themselves on DETAIL360° and establish new or strengthen existing networks with partners and customers. Profile entry is free of charge.
Behind DETAIL360° lies an international media community for architecture and construction detail. The print edition focuses on a particular construction theme (e.g. building with concrete, roof structures, refurbishment, etc.), with the emphasis at all times on the quality of the architecture and design detail implementation. Drawings with comparable scales and high-quality photographs are used to illustrate current examples from home and abroad. Twice a year DETAIL Konzept provides an in-depth illustration of the entire construction process.
DETAIL.de expands DETAIL's range of services. It includes the latest news on the construction sector, construction law, structural damage and the German energy conservation ordinance (EnEV), as well as the German construction catalogue, featuring the latest products of relevance to the construction industry. The Job Service lists all the vacancies in the European construction sector identified each week by the online editorial team, thereby making it easier for job seekers to find new employment and for employers to find new workers. The DETAIL newsletter is sent to more than 32,000 individuals interested in architecture, and contains the latest news from the construction sector. An archive containing previous DETAIL articles and DETAIL Motion with films on architecture round off the website's offerings.
The name DETAIL also stands for the publishing house. It was founded in Munich in 1961. The company publishes three series of high-quality books for architects: EDITION DETAIL construction atlases, IM DETAIL specialist books, and the DETAIL Praxis series.
